 #ACDev Channel Rules Minimize
First and foremost, never post chat logs from #acdev to any forums unless you have explicit permission from the speaker.  We are sometimes visited by members of Turbine, and they sometimes speak candidly.  We would like to continue this arrangement and will perma-ban anyone who violates this rule.

Secondly, do not pester us for ETAs on Decal updates.  We will post them when we post them.

Thirdly, do not be instantly offended if you are kicked from the channel.  This is often meant in jest, and you are immediately able to reenter the channel.  Should you be banned from the channel, get over it.  We'll either lift the ban at a later date, or forget why we added it in the first place and, that's right, remove it.

Also, while this channel is centered around AC related development, it is rarely actually discussed there anymore.  The topic is easily swayed in various directions, so don't be discouraged if you have a question worth asking.  There are often many in the channel who will assist you.  Be aware that randomly or persistantly private messaging the OPs or Decal devs is annoying.  We may initiate private conversations to help you with problems, but don't assume that is the best method to communicate with us.

Lastly, don't paste large amounts of code into the channel.  Ask permission first and try to keep it to a minimum.  If you can't describe your issue in a small amount of code, use one of the many copy-and-paste sites to show us larger pieces.

Just relax, and take most of the content of the channel with rather large helpings of salt.  You'll survive the day yet.
